An error is generated if the difference between the sensors is:

  • greater than 5°C with the doors closed,
  • greater than 20°C with the doors open (a difference of 20°C is still acceptable for 60 seconds after the doors are closed).

Starting from Pol-Eko MRW 1.83 and VWR MRW 1.7619 versions and higher, the conditions have changed. An error is generated if the program is turned on and the difference between the sensors is:

  • greater than 10°C with the doors closed,
  • greater than 20°C with the doors open (a difference of 20°C is still acceptable for 20 minutes after the doors are closed).
One of the sensors is in contact with the insert in the device - this causes a distortion of the reading by the sensor. Increase the distance of the insert from the sensors.
The arrangement of the insert in the chamber causes limited airflow. One of the sensors is obscured by the insert. Change the arrangement of the insert in the chamber, paying particular attention to the free airflow around the temperature sensors. Refer to the instruction manual, section "Notes on Insert Placement."
Unstable environmental conditions, e.g., drafts. Ensure stable environmental conditions.
The installation location of the device is not compliant with the instructions. Familiarize yourself with the requirements regarding the "Installation Location of the Device" provided in the instructions.
One of the measurement paths is damaged. Contact with service.

Emergency stop of the program. The program could not be continued.
If the situation occurred during the segment change, there may have been a temporary internal communication disruption within the device. If the situation occurred once, it can be ignored. If it repeats, contact the service.
Applies only to devices equipped with defrosting.
After defrosting, an insert with a high temperature or a large amount of new, uncooled material was placed into the device. After defrosting, the device was unable to lower the temperature. Do not place high-temperature or large amounts of material directly after defrosting (for about 5 minutes).
Despite defrosting, frost/ice remains on the evaporator of the device. After defrosting, the device was unable to lower the temperature. The cause may be environmental conditions, the type of material, or the way it is stored. An incorrectly selected defrost period and duration. Extend the defrost time and/or shorten the time between defrost cycles. If possible: do not store moist materials, reduce moisture emission in the chamber (e.g., by closing containers).
The temperature sensor in the chamber is in contact with the material - this causes a distortion of the sensor's reading. Increase the distance of the material from the sensors.
The arrangement of the material in the chamber is limiting the airflow. One of the sensors is obstructed by the material. Change the arrangement of the material in the chamber, paying particular attention to the free airflow around the temperature sensors. If the above causes have been excluded and there was a continuous increase in temperature after defrosting, the cause may be a failure of the cooling system. Contact the service.

There are disturbances in the electrical network to which the device is connected - the voltage frequency is not consistent with the expected 50/60Hz. The algorithm works as follows: The device aims to fill the demineralized water tank to the level of the upper float. After detecting water at the middle float, the device waits 5 minutes for water to appear at the high float. If it does not appear, the device signals an error.

Suspended upper float in the lower position, despite reaching the level - in this case, the presence of water in the maximum position will not be signaled. Please contact the service department

The temperature in the device is above the upper operational range of the device. It may occur in:

  • ST, CL, SL, SR, ILC, KK - if it exceeds the upper temperature limit by +10°C, e.g., for CLN, the operational range is from 20 to 100, and the alarm will trigger after exceeding 110°C.
  • CHL operational range from 0 to 15, the alarm will trigger after exceeding 40°C (set fixed).

It will not occur in devices that do not have heating capabilities: ZL.

The consequence of the alarm is the disconnection of the upper relay.

In devices configured in the program with a safety class > 1, the safety mechanism should activate first and disconnect the upper relay.

In devices with a safety class of 1, this may be useful as it will disconnect the upper relay.

The presence of such an event in the log indicates that the temperature in the device was outside the range.

Malfunction causing unexpected heating, such as continuous voltage supply to the heating element outputs. Eliminate the cause.
In CHL or ST (with a range up to 40°C), it may indicate an attempt to operate the device in an environment with a temperature above 40°C. Move the device to an area with appropriate environmental conditions.
Damaged temperature sensor. The sensor indicates an incorrect temperature outside the range. Replace the sensor.

It will not occur in devices that do not have a cooling system: CL, SL, SR, ILC.

The consequence of the alarm is the disconnection of the lower relay.

In devices configured in the program with a safety class of 3.2 or 3.3, the safety mechanism should activate first and disconnect the lower relay.

In devices with a safety class of 1, this may be useful as it will disconnect the lower relay.

The presence of such an event in the log indicates that the temperature in the device was outside the range.
